So we’re interested in buying this house. However, there’s an agreement by the seller with a relocation real estate company, to buy the house from them if they can’t sell it after a period of time. We found out we made an offer that is lower than the relocation company. So are we working with the seller or the relocation company? And is this not worth it? Seems the relocation company did not incorporate the expected decline in home prices. It needs a lot of upgrades and needs some repairs too — the reason our offer was also agressive. Any thoughts? Advice? thanks!

I really want to start a real estate business but I don’t know what degrees i need to have to make a successful and affordable lifestyle off of a business in the real estate business! Especially since I want to work with houses that cost over $900,000!
For example would I need a business degree?

I am a licensed real estate agent. The small office I previously worked for has closed down and I need to put my license with a new office. I am thinking of going with a larger company this time that has a good reputation. I am looking for an office with no desk fees, a good commission split, ongoing education, and good resources. I am basically thinking of Century 21, Prudential, Keller Williams, and other big ones of that sort. What have been your experiences as an agent with these companies?

What are real estate investment trusts or REITs and how do they work. Is there some law that give these trust some tax efficiency status and how can investors invest in these REITs. With the real estate market in the US the way as it is, is it a good time to invest in the property market through real estate investment trusts. What kind of people manage these funds or trusts and what are their typical return on investments?

I am looking for the best place to work at. I am getting my real estate license soon and would like to work for a great company where they provide training and don’t just throw you out there. Oh, I have a full time job as well. Thanks!

Can most real estate agents help their clients with foreclosed properties, or do they usually just stick to listings with home owners? We’re looking into buying, but are on a limited budget, and want to look more closely into foreclosures. Thanks.

I want to get my license to do commercial and residential real estate apprasials, but I am worried about the current real estate market. Is this still a good career to pursue, or is the market really ending for this type of business? How much money do appraisal workers make annually? Thanks for any info!

I recently passed my real estate sales person exam, and now I am on the hunt to find a company to work for. Like any body in the real estate game I want to be successful and I want to learn a lot. How do I find that perfect company to work for, or can someone recomend a company. I live in Chicago.

I just passed my real estate exam. I don’t know where to apply as real estate sales agent and also get training on loans to be a better advocate for my clients. This will be my part-time career at this time since I am currently working full-time in the medical field. Any advice or ideas would be great.

I want to work in commercial real estate. I am working in Hotel Management at the moment, but think commercial real estate is interesting. Im young enough where a career change is not out of the question. What types of things do employers look for? Is there a high demand for people in commercial real estate?
